Is there any way to tell if a wall is a load bearing other then looking at the blueprints

l have a finished basement, with a bathroom, that has cement walls that l

wanna take down.The cement is flaking as it is now but l do not know if

the previous owner constructed the walls of cement or if they are original

You can look at the walls on the first floor. If they measure  
Shrek
to be right on top of the wall in the basement it probably is.

Check to see if there are any steel beams running the length of your

house, having these usually gives a good sign that it is not load bearing.

(it usually runs perpendicular to the floor joists)  
 
Outside walls are load bearing.  
 
If you're still unsure, I think there are building inspectors that can

Post in the basement lined up with interior walls .and look  
cuddley bear
in the Attic for where the ceiling joist land on or roof trust . You might

be able to replace the wall with a beam and new post .
